Celebrating Excellence While Achieving It: Telly Awards Triumph

Flame Bearers further cements its status as a trailblazer in the storytelling realm with its recent triumph at the prestigious Telly Awards.

Garnering a silver Telly in “Social Video – Sports” and a bronze Telly in “People’s Telly – Social Video” is Flame Bearers’ “Pass it on,” stories from the 1985 United States Women’s National Soccer Team (USWNT), the first women’s national team to play international matches. These episodes were co-hosted by FIFA Female Player of the Century Michelle Akers, who scored the first official USWNT goal.

Those stories also garnered Flame Bearers a bronze Telly in Branded Content – Sports.

The Telly Awards is the premier award honoring video and television across all screens. Entrants are judged by The Telly Awards Judging Council, an industry body of more than 200 leading experts, including advertising agencies, production companies and major television networks, reflective of the multiscreen industry The Telly Awards celebrates.

Flame Bearers’ work was selected to be honored from a record 13,000 entries in the competition, underscoring the media company’s commitment to delivering compelling content resonates with audiences.

With these recent wins, Flame Bearers has now been honored with more than 15 internationally acclaimed awards in video, podcasting, and social media, including being a Webby Awards finalist and achieving multiple recognitions for its role in public service and activism, as well as diversity, equity and inclusion.
